Founded by physicians with the aim of offering high-resolution imaging diagnostics, Unitom has pioneered its path, constantly improving its staff and periodically modernizing its technological resources.
When starting its activities, in 1987, it made Cascavel the first city in the west of Paraná and the fourth in the state to carry out exams using computed tomography.
Another historic step was taken in 1996 when it imported its first MRI device (Siemens, 1.0 Tesla), which at the time became the third of this model in operation in Paraná.
Following the evolution of technology, it was one of the first clinics in the state to have a 64-channel Computerized Tomography, which allows, in addition to conventional exams, to perform angiotomography of the coronary arteries.
In a new advance to provide increasingly efficient diagnoses, a 3 Tesla MRI was acquired, one of the most sophisticated equipment, little available in the country, used for more complex exams.
Seeking, at the same time, the improvement of its services, Unitom became the first clinic in Paraná to win the prestigious certification of the Accreditation Program of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, which evaluates a series of requirements to certify the safety and quality of patient care.
More recently, the clinic has incorporated the Revolution Computed Tomography device into its structure, considered to be the fastest tomography scanner in the world, capable of scanning the entire anatomy of the heart with just one heartbeat. It is one of only four devices of its kind existing in Brazil.
Headed by a specialized clinical staff and a qualified technical team, Unitom also stands out for its differential in providing individualized and humanized care, striving for the production of quick and accurate diagnoses, through non-invasive procedures, with less risk and more comfort for the patients.
Perform imaging exams with high diagnostic quality and humanized patient care.
To be recognized in the southern region of Brazil for excellence in diagnostic imaging, focusing on the patient as the center of care.
